Freedom Press

A critical reading of my first diary and book, as well as my autobiography The poet Adnan Radwan ... the search for hope in the hole of the needle Suleiman Nahili February 18, 2019 Suleiman Nahili adnan 2 - Horrya press Reading about the experience of the poet Adnan Radwan Written by: Suleiman Nahili On the banks of the Orontes he was born .. He drank from his water before feeding his mother’s milk, so he remained faithful to the first moment in his life .. And in Mimas the Orontes and his gout he grew up, and her birds taught him the spirit of songs. Homs, according to the poet Adnan Radwan, is the writing paper, and the disobedient is the long and never-ending poem as the flow continues .. on its trees his name was engraved, so he left it deserted .. and the name remained .. So carried the sinner with him in his heart: And ask Homs, why is my land I have trees left in them And the disobedient is running blood in my arteries And from my heart refuses to leave ... The first thing that attracts attention in Adnan Radwan's creative product is simplicity and honesty, as he inherited from the people of Homs their simplicity and kindness, for simple he faces the complexities of life and its pitfalls, and with honesty he lives his life easily to people's hearts, he says about himself and his approach to life: I'm a human Thirst for simplicity My name is Syria, the Jasmine Girl And I love her .. He also says: With a little honesty You can have a demographic Sincere hearts ... But his simplicity does not mean the superficiality at all, but it involves a depth of thinking and a dimension of vision, which moves away from falsity and strikes the essence of meaning, and his writing is not devoid of the humor of the people of Homs. How can the corrupt write on the door of his house <This is from Allah's grace>? !! Satan is his partner in it !!! The poet traces the spirit of the people, that ancient Syrian people, but the oppressed who touches in his homeland a people of the fourth degree due to the tyranny of tyrants and their injustice against him, and therefore he believes in this people and its spontaneous sense that leads them to demand freedom: My people are of the fourth degree .. I am Syrian The tongue is tied with locks .. However, his faith in the people did not diminish, despite the bitterness and defeats that it had swallowed during the years of oppression, so that the people's voice, the voice of truth, remained wild as thunder stronger than the voice of tyrants: The people fled His voice is still defeated. Therefore, he reproached with many faces and was loyal to his principles and the dream of his people, he did not fluctuate with the fluctuating ones, and he did not color with the colorists according to changing circumstances and the balance of power, he says faithful to his simplicity, beauty and principles: They are white and black If only for our time Because we see faces turning By the number of colors of the spectrum ... And because he is from the core of a people of the fourth degree, he is patient with all the colors of oppression and oppression that he connects with his people in their bitter journey to gain freedom, and he will not lose hope even if it is by piercing his needles, he says: I will look for hope In the piercing needle ... The discord sparked by the enemies of freedom, who diverted the course of the Syrian people's revolution, whose throats were ringing high in the squares (the Syrian people are one), has long hurt him, leading to other sectarian paths, which led to the outbreak of war between the sons of the same people: Hatred prevailed And the night bats are back It is a war led by sectarianism The roads are engulfed in flames .. Adnan often relies on conveying his poetic contents on the style of the poetic flash that it carries in terms of shortening of the vocabulary, and a deep condensation of meaning with a flame of astonishment, and he succeeded in that remarkably, he says: The debate that I am not taking part in When ... your eyes talk to me ... Likewise, in this poetic flash based on an intelligent capture in order to show the vast difference in the meaning of the word (talaq), one of them leads to life and the second to death: Two shots are completely contradictory in this world The shot of the mother giving birth And a shotgun. He also scatters some philosophical fragments in his poetry, which he drew from life and come in the form of wisdom and proverbs that are not devoid of depth and astonishment: History is forgotten Forgetting in and of itself is history ... The poet excels in using the technique of simulating a picture with a picture: If you see a stain on your shirt It will definitely bother you Have you not thought for a moment to check what's inside? Perhaps you will find thousands of spots that will annoy others. Among the poetic purposes that he dealt with in his poetry, Letters from the East, is his nostalgia for the East, for his country, his environment, his disobedient, and his mother that the tyrants forced him to leave. Here he is long absent in his distant exile .. in the United States of America, and exhausted by the longing for his mother turning calendar papers, the cold exile calendar and saying: I got tired turning my calendar sheets No location or address I run into moments I miss my mom .. I weave a coat from my arteries To keep you out of the cold, mom .. In exile the agony of remembrance, the pain of estrangement and the pains of longing outweigh the pain of his illness, which he struggles with with will, writing, hope, and his distant memories there at home, so that you see him create hope while he is in the sludge of disease: And as for me I was sick with a whip The disease changed my features But my hope is in God is great ... Until he whispered as if he found his comfort: It is our memory Fleet of memories .. And at the end of his office, he recommends that the papers of his poetry be buried next to him in his last refuge, those papers on which he wrote the tragedy of his people and his tragedy, so that they would be a title for him where strangers have no address, and he witnessed that he died a stranger far from his homeland without an address: Cover up my smooth paper coffins On which was written the story of a displaced It's a title ... adnan - Freedom Press, Horrya press Syrian poet Adnan Radwan The poet Adnan Radwan in brief: The Syrian poet Adnan Kamal Radwan was born in Bab Tadmur, one of the old neighborhoods of Homs, in 1982.
